No 40A Bridle Leather Belt with Solid Brass 4-O Buckle

Custom-made solid brass 4-O buckle paired with heavyweight English or North American 10-12oz bridle leather, solid brass rivets throughout. The 4-O buckle design is machined in-house from a single brass billet, then hand-finished on the bench for two hours to recreate a traditional brushed '60s texture. The buckle tongue is solid brass and also machined in-house, while the contrasting stainless steel hinge pin is hand-hammered to set.

The belt is 1.5" (40mm) wide—a substantial weight suitable for medium to larger frames and ideal for jeans, khakis, and work pants. Leather edges on the body of the belt are hand-burnished, then the leather is hand-finished in oils and waxes.

This can be accessorised with a matching (or contrasting leather) No 116 Brass or Aluminum clip. (the belt shown here is the larger No40A 1.5” belt)

Sedgwick Green Leather - we have highlighted the greenness of this leather here as in photographs it tends to look almost black which it certainly is not :)

You can see the size comparison between No40A 1.5” and No40B 1”, they are very different in size and heft. 40A is for informal occasion, jeans fatigues etc. 40B for smaller frames and more formal occasions
